A giant squid's eye is about the size of a basketball, and scientists have long wondered why. But finding this out was no easy task; giant squids are mysterious creatures who dwell in the deep where there's hardly any sunlight, and it's hard for scientists to get their hands on on them. But now they have a new theory.
