New burger at ChevapRolls – PanckBurger

When ChevapRolls first opened its doors at the start of the year there were some questions on how crossing one of the most recognisable meat dishes in the region – Ćevapčići – with one of the most recognisable desserts – palačinke (pancakes) would be received… Now after four months in business the answers seems to be very well! The unique ćevapčići / palačinke fusion is the brainchild of two Croatia MasterChef contestants, Martina Županić and Iva Pehar, and their new food joint ChevapRolls has become a hit in the capital Zagreb. When they opened up, the pair’s idea was to create a new street food, where the popular ćevapčići could be eaten as a snack on the go. ChevapRolls has been doing great business since opening and recently they added a new unique product to the menu.

Witch’s Cucumbers

They are perfect for every witch who want to decorate her haunted house, room or forest.
Their floods glow in the dark and those creatures look really creepy, especially at night.
They were sculpted and hand painted by Kasia and Jacek Anyszkiewicz.

Tim Peake drives remote robot on Earth from orbit

UK astronaut Tim Peake has begun his big remote control experiment on the space station.
He is commanding a robot rover on Earth, driving it across a big sandpit in Stevenage that simulates the surface of the Red Planet. The Briton is clearly enjoying himself, racing through the tasks he was set. It is all part of a European Space Agency project that aims to learn how astronauts can operate systems on other worlds at a distance. continue

Ancient Arabic Text Shines Light on Massive Supernova

In 1006 A.D., a new star appeared, lighting the skies in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and perhaps even North America. Many spotted the glowing orb. And though they didn't know it at the time, these lucky ancient observers were gazing at one of the brightest supernovas ever recorded, now cataloged as SN 1006. Modern astrophysicists have learned a great deal from the records of many of these ancient observers, including astronomer Ali ibn Ridwan in Egypt and the Benedictine monks at the Abbey of St. Gall in Switzerland. In recent years, astronomers have also taken pictures of the remnants of the explosion, 7,200 light years from Earth in the constellation Lupus.
But those ancient sources still have more to tell.

Web 0.0

Biancoshock is now in Southern Italy where he just finished working on an awesome new project entitled “Web 0.0”.
The provocative idea behind this project was to show that these virtual functions and apps, considered by the vast majority of the population as necessary and essential to everyday life, also exist where internet doesn’t “exist”.
