About Life

Nor stony tower, nor walls of beaten brass,
 Nor airless dungeon, nor strong links of iron,
 Can be retentive to the strength of spirit;
 But life, being weary of these worldly bars,
Never lacks power to dismiss itself.
 Julius Cæsar (1599), Act I, scene 3, line 93.

 William Shakespeare, in his many plays, produced a vast number of quotes on the subject of life.
