Sirdalen Cabin by Filter Arkitekter is a 165 m2 residence in Sirdal, Norway. It is designed for a builder who wanted a structure that was integrated into the terrain and which would “ snow down” in the winter. There was also a strong desire from the builder to minimize maintenance, both inside and out. The cabin is integrated into the terrain east-west and opens onto the view to the south. Materials used are mainly concrete and glass.
