Police Discover Dove Nested in Their Car and Respond By Protecting Its New Home

When the police in Parma, Ohio found a delinquent dove nested in the windshield of one of their spare patrol cars in April, they could have kicked her out—after all, she had chosen an unsanctioned parking spot, and she certainly didn’t have a license to drive. Instead, they went the extra mile to keep the bird safe and comfortable, protecting her as they protect the rest of the community.
