Police use squirrel in bid to catch thieves

Late last week a semi-tractor and loaded trailer were stolen from the area of Auburn and Ryan.
The truck and trailer were recovered in the city of Detroit, but the cargo was missing. Stolen were 18 pallets (roughly 28,000 pounds) of packaged walnuts and other snack nuts. Value of cargo was over $128,000. If you have any information that may be valuable to the investigation of this cargo theft, please call (586) 731-2121 ext. 315 and speak with Det./Lt. Schmittler.
Note: The squirrel is not a suspect. It's just a picture. Used to draw attention. Please do not call in squirrel sightings. Also, we got this photo from Zazzle, a little store called Welcome Traditions.
They also have a picture of a pig with lipstick. We think we like them. A LOT. via
