A Humboldt penguin chick born with splayed legs finally has happy feet .

The adorable animal was born at Sea Life Scarborough, Yorkshire, and staff realised it had the problem when he was around three weeks old. They believe the deformity was caused by first-time parents, Pinky and Kev, sitting on it too heavily. Once staff realised they began wrapping its legs in tight fitting trousers made from an elasticated material. It was also regularly placed inside a shallow pot to gradually correct the positioning of his legs as he grew. After six weeks of treatment, the little creature's legs are back to the usual position and it can waddle like any other Humboldt penguin.
