Swoboda says EU will help flood-hit Croatian regions

 The European Union will help Croatian areas hit by disastrous floods, president of the Social Democratic Group in the European Parliament Hannes Swoboda said in Zagreb on Wednesday. Europe must show solidarity. Europe will certainly help because this is an important element of Europe: If European citizens are hit by something unexpected, Europe helps, said Swoboda who toured the flooded Slavonia region during his visit to Croatia.
