Taliban says captured British forces dog 'being well looked after'
A British military dog snatched in Afghanistan is fit and healthy, and being fed a diet of chicken and beef kebabs, according to its Taliban captors.
The dog, who has been named DaGarwal – Pashto for Colonel – went missing during an operation in December.
It surfaced this week in a video posted online showing Taliban commanders with weapons captured from foreign forces.
Locals in Alingar Valley, in the eastern province of Laghman, said the dog was being held by a notoriously brutal commander who goes by the nom de guerre of Abu Zarqawi. continue
