Zagreb Criminal Police Commissioner Vitomir Bijelic said on Friday that police and the State Prosecutor's Office for now believe that there were no elements in last night's explosion in west Zagreb, nor in an explosion that took place two days ago in the same part of the city, that could be qualified as acts of terrorism and for now the explosions were treated as acts against general security.

Explosions hit Zagreb, one injured
Several explosions hit Zagreb in the early hours of Friday morning. Police reported one person was injured but not seriously. The incident follows an explosion under a freight train in Podsused on the outskirts of Zagreb earlier this week. No one has yet claimed responsibility for either explosion.
