Lonely Planet names Tisno as European festival capital

The largest travel guide book in the world, Lonely Planet, has put the Garden Festival held in Tisno on the Croatian Adriatic island of Murter in second place on the list of places to go for a quick getaways. The June edition of the world famous guide book says that at the Garden Festival, patrons will be able to enjoy top class music and natural beauty surrounding the location of the event which is a stones through from the Adriatic sea. The Garden Festival once again has proved to be one of the best ambassadors of Croatian tourism in Europe. For years it has been at the very top of the world's boutique festivals. "Tisno offers much more than other festivals in the region, such as a cruise ship around the surrounding islands, exploring tucked away coves and fabulous tasting seafood delicacies.
