Croatian sheepdog, with whom the Croats arrived in the 7th century to the area, have become the subject of worship in Japan.
The person who can take a lot of credit for that is Katsumi Imamura, 51, from Japan. Imamura first laid eyes on a Croatian sheepdog five years ago at a dog show in Norway. The Croatian sheepdog reminded him of the Japanese sheepdog, a long-extinct breed, which in the Land of the Rising Sun was believed to transmit secret energy to people."
