A chihuahua named Frivel pushes its friend Merlian in a mini shopping trolley in Treptow Park, Berlin, Germany. A German dog trainer has set up a special group so that bored city dogs can learn some crowd-pleasing stunts. Former circus lion trainer Berenike Schaak holds her 'trickdogging' class in a park in Berlin. Dogs begin with simple tricks before progressing on to things such as hoop-jumping and pole-balancing. And, much to the delight of passers-by, they also learn comedy tricks like pushing each other around in small supermarket trollies. According to Schaak the skills they learn stop dogs from getting bored and also helps them work off extra energy and stay fit.
