NASA art remembers 50 years of space exploration

"NASA's art collection holds 50 years' worth of works by renowned artists. Opening this Saturday, an exhibition at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC features more than 70 of the agency's best pieces."

Fluid Dynamics

In this mixed-media work, Tina York explores fluid dynamics, a concept she researched at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California. Created in 1995, the piece conveys the movement of gases as a solid body passes through them.
