Doctors in Croatia have managed to bring an 18-year-old male out of his coma after 5 months by inserting an electrode in his brain.

"The revolutionary method of Japanese scientists has been tested by Dr. Darko Chudy, a neurosurgeon in Dubrava Hospital in the Croatian capital Zagreb.

The 18-year-old patient Josip Kokeza had been in a coma for five months after his heart stopped beating during a school lesson in the Adriatic port of Split.
