A new heart turned Croat into a mountaineer

A Croat says he has developed love or mountain climbing after he got a heart transplanted from a German climber.

Drazen Zemun from capital Zagreb told to Croatian national television HRT that he did not used to go to the mountains , but after getting a heart transplant three years ago, he became addicted to mountaineering.

"I've found out in the meantime that the person I got a heart from used to be an mountain climber from Regensburg in Germany. With the new heart I have a wish almost every weekend to go to the mountains", Drazen Zemun has said.

Doctor Sanja Radeljak appeared on the same show saying that his theory could be true as scientific researchers are looking into whether or not every single unit in human body could have some memory.
