"Researchers have found that female babies already associate creepy crawlies with being afraid before their first birthdays unlike boys who appear unfazed by the creatures.
They believe that the findings suggest that girls may be genetically predisposed to fearing potentially dangerous animals.
Other studies have already shown that women are four times more likely to have a phobia for spiders than men, but this is the first to suggest they are predisposed to the fear."
