'Bumper' the stoat was released back into the wild after RSPCA workers freed him from the BMW car grille

"As he swerved to avoid a hedgehog in the road, Mervyn Draper saw another little pair of startled eyes staring up at him in the headlights of his BMW.

Hearing no bump, he decided he must have missed the mystery animal and completed his journey home.

It was not until late the next morning that he discovered a stoat poking head first through the Z4 sports car's side grille, frantically trying to wriggle free through a quarter-inch gap."
