'Dead heat' in Croatia election

Voting has ended in Croatia's election, with an exit poll suggesting a dead heat between the centre-left governing coalition and its conservative rival. The poll by the HRT state broadcaster gives 56 seats each to the alliance led by the Social Democrats and the opposition headed by the HDZ party.
Neither of the two main camps is expected to gain a majority in the 151-seat parliament, meaning a coalition is likely to be necessary.
