The pulse of the city of Zagreb

It is not easy to summarize all the beauties of the city of Zagreb in 7 minutes’ time but the photographer and cameraman Marko Vrdoljak came close to the idea in his short film “The pulse of the city of Zagreb”. He started filming the events and people in the streets of Zagreb in 2010. He has been doing it for two years and it all resulted in the beautiful video postcard which celebrates our capital city. In the film “Pulse of the city” there are some favorite activities of Zagreb citizens like drinking coffee on Cvjetni Square, walking in Maksimir or along the banks of the Sava River. Everything is wrapped up with the romantic sunset but also there are events like a recent visit of Angelina Jolie. The whole film is accompanied by the music that was especially created for this project. The author of the music is Zvonko Tesic. There are thousands of photos and video recordings connected by a special time-lapse technique. The postproduction and special effects were made by Drazen Zeljkovic./ more
