"The hapless feline spent more than 24 hours clinging to a protruding branch after scrambling up the side of the tree's 100ft trunk to escape a chasing dog.
Two animal rescue groups and the fire brigade were called to the scene in Torrington, Devon, to rescue the stuck cat."
