Croatia joins Schengen Area
After receiving unanimous backing from EU members during a vote in Brussels on Thursday, Croatia will join the Schengen Area as of January 2023.
All border controls will be lifted at land and sea border crossing points on 1 January 2023 and at airports on 26 March 2023.
