Organised by the art collective Pimp My Pump and the Zagreb Tourist Board, last week the first cycle of a new project called Street Triptych was completed.
The central location of the project, the Tourist Board Visitor Centre (Trg bana Jelačića 11), was painted by Boris Bare, who said about the work named Herman Gollubé: “I gladly accepted the invitation of the Zagreb Tourist Board to paint the wall of the Visitor Centre on the main Zagreb square. In his hits, Ivo Robić dedicated special verses to Zagreb pigeons, or ‘feathered pilots’, as he called them.
This time I gave one of them the role of the famous architect of Zagreb, Herman Bollé.”
