The art of henna—a practice used to adorn bodies with decorative patterning—is often associated with women. There are, however, men who choose to have this same practice applied to their skin. Nicknamed menna, these same complex designs reach farther than the typical feet or hands—they travel across chests and arms, around the collarbone and down the back.
Menna might seem like an unusual trend, but Sabreena Haque of Ritual By Design remarks that men are actively seeking
these temporary designs on their skin.
