World’s Oldest Dog Maggie Dies Aged 30

Maggie the Kelpie, the world’s oldest dog, has peacefully passed away at the age of 30 after falling asleep in her basket at her home in Victoria, Australia. Maggie has been buried under a pine tree besides McLaren’s other dog. Her age can’t be verified because her paperwork got lost when she was a puppy, but Brian says that his 34 year-old son Liam was only four when Maggie joined their family. Considering that most dogs live between eight and 15 years, Maggie certainly had a nice long life.
In fact, 30 in human years is roughly 133 in dog years!
“I’m sad,” said Brian, “but I’m pleased she went the way she went.”
