Bad news for Scotland as one of the country's main transport arteries is to remain shut until the new year. The Scottish Goverment has taken the "unprecedented" decision to close the Forth Road Bridge, which links Fife with Edinburgh, after faults were discovered in its steel work. The Scots are keeping cool and have taken to social media to show how the prospect of traffic chaos at Christmas time is not worrying them. Not at all.
