An aurora in the distance and the Space Station bathed in moonlight

The picture was taken by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti a few nights ago.
Cristoforetti is on the ISS for six months as part of Expedition 43, and she’s taking the time to populate Flickr with as many great photos as us poor earthlings can handle. via
