The 14 most amazing bodies of water on our planet

Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
Within a forested national park in Croatia, a series of 16 interlinked lakes cascade into waterfalls. The lakes are separated by natural limestone dams. Declared a National Park in 1949, the Plitvice Lakes are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park has rich biodiversity, including rare animals like lynx, European polecats, and wolves.

From a spring that bubbles like champagne to lakes that change colour, explore Earth's most beautiful bodies of water.
