Locals were left head scratching after workers in Croatia finished work on a tunnel that leads nowhere. The 1,471 metre long tunnel near the coastal town of Omis stops 170 metres above the river Cetina. Work on the tunnel started in 2007 and was part of a plan to connect Omis with Split. Now locals are asking why it hasn’t been finished.Croatian Times
