Bill Murray is known for his rather unorthodox sense of style — recall his epic mismatch at this year’s Cannes Film Festival — so his waltz onto Dave Letterman’s stage this week was bound to be more than just a casual stroll out from behind the curtain. Instead, like a captive prisoner, Murray was hustled from a SUV and shoved through a back door, but not before he received a stern jolting from a taser. Sure, it was all fake, but the effort Murray puts into his acting is admirable, even when he’s not on the big screen.
