China unleashes big dog ban as it stops people keeping any over 20ins tall

"A tourist city in northern China is to ban residents from keeping large dogs such as German shepherds.

The city of Xi’an, home to the Terracotta Army, will introduce the ruling on February 1.

Any dog with a shoulder height of more than 20 inches will be regarded as too big."
