Croatian drum maker moves to a different beat

A man in Croatia who dreamed as a boy of becoming a famous drummer is now beating off the competition by making sensational miniature drums - and his customers include musicians like Phil Collins and Eros Ramazzotti.

Goran Martini from Zagreb made his first miniature drums as a kid and the hobby turned into a lifelong passion for the magic world of miniatures.

"I use different materials, but more than anything I need patience when doing it", Goran Martini said after making drums as small as 6 centimetres across, but looking just like the real thing.

"I am most probably the only one in the world doing this, so I am not surprised why musicians like Phil Collins want to have a souvenir like this one," he added.
