The misshapen spud emerged from a crop growing in her back garden in Mratovo, Croatia,
"At first I thought someone had played a prank on me but then I saw the roots were still attached and it was the real thing," said amazed Marica.
Now - after snapping the bizarre veg - Marica plans to turn it into potato dumplings for her husband.
"This time I can really say I put my heart into it," she said.
