Christopher J. Raxworthy, a herpetologist with the American Museum of Natural History, has been to Madagascar to study reptiles and amphibians 30 times since his first trip as a student in 1985. He traveled again this spring to Mount Marojejy in search of new chameleon species. Here are some of the photographs from his expedition, along with excerpts from Dr. Raxworthy's blog posts.
