"Frederica, 6: They come from Mummy's tummy. They start like an egg. I'm not sure how the egg gets there to begin with. I think it comes from food. You eat lots of food, very healthy food, and that makes the egg. But you do have to eat very healthy food, even like 18 broccolis a week. The egg in the tummy grows bigger and bigger. Then the mummy goes to hospital and the doctor cuts open her tummy and she can see the little baby peeping out. There is a tube between the mummy and baby that feeds the baby before it is born, and then that turns into your tummy button. That's where they come from. Babies don't grow in the ground or come from the sea or anything. (What do daddies do?) You have to be married first before the baby comes. That's how you know to get a baby ready. Mummies have the baby and daddies get to choose the name. There are some differences between boys and girls. Boys have short hair and girls have long hair. Boys are tough and girls are girlie. Boys don't really like princesses. Boys and girls both have nipples. We don't really talk about things like this at school."
