A total lunar eclipse occurred on a Thursday morning, February 21, 2008 (in Europe and Africa; Wednesday evening, February 20 for the Americas). You are so lucky! I love eclipses but I guess if you were seeing it in the northern hemisphere we wouldn't have it in the southern hemisphere.
