Incredible watercolour paintings by boy aged just SIX

"A street scene from the paintbrush of a child usually involves triangle-topped boxes for houses. And often an unnaturally large dog.

But Kieron Williamson's attempts are so beautifully rendered that artists ten times his age will be filled with envy.

Experts have said that the six-year-old's atmospheric paintings, which began with harbour scenes and expanded to include rural vistas, animal portraits and landmarks, have perspective, shadow and reflections that demonstrate an ability well beyond his years."

Beluga whale saved the life of a diver

"Sometimes, animals kill humans, sometimes they save their lives.
Here, it’s the latter. This Beluga whale named Mila was not playing and not hurting the diver, it just came to recue her.
Here is the story: Yang Yun, 26, was participating in a free diving contest (without breathing equipment) among whales when she suffered from cramps because of the freezing cold. Fortunately, Mila took the diver’s leg in its mouth and took her to the surface. And happily, the Beluga whale has small teeth so the diver was not injured.
Well, just another beautiful story with humans and animals ."

So that's why the dormice crossed the road!

"They are well known for their extraordinary capacity to sleep.

But even the sound of an articulated lorry thundering past fails to disturb these dormice as they rest in their home - in the central reservation of a dual carriageway."

Apple Claims New iPhone Only Visible To Most Loyal Of Customers

"SAN FRANCISCO—In a move expected to revolutionize the mobile device industry, Apple launched its fastest and most powerful iPhone to date Tuesday, an innovative new model that can only be seen by the company's hippest and most dedicated customers.

'I am proud today to introduce to those who really, truly deserve it, our most incredible iPhone yet,' announced Apple CEO Steve Jobs, extending his seemingly empty left palm toward the eagerly awaiting crowd. 'Not only is this our lightest and slimmest model ever, but as any truly savvy Apple customer can clearly see, it's also the most handsome product we've ever designed.'

The packed auditorium, which had been listening to Jobs in hushed reverence for several minutes, then erupted into applause, with hundreds of men and women suddenly jumping to their feet and shouting, 'I can see it!' 'Look, there it is!' and 'God, it's so beautiful!'"

Blonde Drivers License

A police officer stops a blonde for speeding and asks her very nicely if he could see her license.

She replied in a huff, "I wish you guys could get your act together.

Just yesterday you take away my license and then today you expect me to show it to you."

Invisible shockwaves of different objects

"Very cool pictures, which show what we normally can’t see with the naked eye. For example - the airflow, the shimmering of a burning candle, hair dryer's hot air, shockwaves of explosions or of a fired gun, an invisible gas leak and much more."

Who needs meat?

"As a carnivorous animal, you wouldn't expect a polar bear to get excited over fruit and vegetables.

They're usually more concerned with capturing seals than ensuring they receive their five-a-day.

However these inhabitants of Tokyo's Ueno Zoo were determined to get to the fruit and vegetables on offer - even if they were enclosed in blocks of ice."

"Male polar bear Yukio adopted a practical approach to the task - he lifted up the ice block close to his face and took a mouthful.

His female counterpart, Reiko, was less hands on. She stooped her head instead and took a bite."

"Yukio inspects the ice block of goodies."

"After all that hard work to get to the fruit and vegetables,
Reiko dives into the water to cool off."

Got Stuck Huh

"A truck driver was driving along on the freeway. A sign comes up that reads 'Low bridge ahead.' Before he knows it the bridge is right ahead of him and he gets stuck under the bridge. Cars are backed up for miles.

Finally, a police car comes up. The cop gets out of his car and walks around to the truck driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, 'Got stuck huh?'

The truck driver says, 'No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of gas.'"
